A police officer was bitten by a woman in a day-light attack in Orpington High Street.
Bromley officers were on patrol when they were called to assist in the bizarre incident on February 18.
Met Police Orpington tweeted out that local officers were on patrol in Orpington High Street on Thursday when they were called to assist in an incident.
One of their colleagues 'had been bitten by a female in the street' whilst they were trying to deal with her.
In addition, the officer who was bitten now has to stay at home and take dedicated medication due to the attack.
Orpington MPS added: "Who wants to be a police officer? Love our job."
