A 43-year-old man has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after he was stabbed in broad daylight.
Police were called to reports of an assault on Manor Road, Mitcham, at around 2.54pm on February 1.
Officers attended the scene and found the victim suffering from a stab injury.
A spokesperson for Met Police said: "Police were called to reports of an assault.
"Officers attended and found a 43-year-old man suffering from a stab wound.
"He was taken by the London Ambulance Service to a south London hospital.
"His injuries are believed to be life-threatening.
"Two people were arrested at the scene. Enquiries continue."
