POLICE are appealing for people’s help in tracing the most wanted violent offenders across London in the run-up to Christmas.
Those wanted include a man accused of causing grievous bodily harm at Brunel University, Uxbridge.
Images of 12 high-harm offenders, sought for a range of offences such as robbery, GBH and recall to prison, have been released in the hope people know their whereabouts.
Supt Claire Smart, of the Violent Crime Taskforce, had this message to offenders: “Do the right thing and hand yourself in at your nearest police station. You won’t be able to evade justice forever.”
The wanted list includes Oluwamayowa Akinola, 25, who failed to appear at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court in relation to a serious assault in June 2019 at Brunel University.
If you see him, call 101 or 999 if it’s an emergency. If you don’t want to speak to police, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
