A CHARITY supporting people experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Hillingdon is organising Christmas celebrations for some of the most vulnerable in the community.
Its efforts are being helped by a £5,000 donation from Coca-Cola European Partners.
Trinity, the largest provider of supported accommodation in Hillingdon, will be providing Christmas meals for more than 300 people affected by homelessness.
The donation will help the charity to provide food and Christmas trimmings in communal, COVID-settings, as well as food parcels to those self-isolating.
Sue Serret, Head of Partnerships at Trinity, said: “We’ve seen a huge increase in the number of people in Hillingdon relying on our services, with so many people being affected by the coronavirus pandemic. We’ve had to rapidly expand the support we offer.
“The donation from Coca-Cola will provide a welcome boost at the end of this difficult year.”
