A FERRY has been diverted to rescue a fishing boat off the Sussex coast, it has been reported.
The vessel named Danielle began taking on water this morning, 15 miles off the coast of Newhaven, according to BBC News.
Danielle and her crew are now being escorted back to the harbour after calling the coastguard for help.
All six people on board the fishing boat are reported to be “safe and well”.
Coastguard and DFDS have been contacted for comment.
