Grants are now available to businesses forced to closed during the second lockdown.
Maldon District Council are offering support for those businesses which were legally required to close and are listed for business rates.
There are also two discretionary grants available.
The first is for businesses within leisure, hospitality and accommodation sectors which were severely impacted by the tier two restrictions in place prior to the national lockdown.
Between October 17 and November 4.
For businesses that weren't required to close but have still been severely impacted, the council is giving priority in this category to applications from the leisure, hospitality, accommodation and events sectors and those in their supply chains that have ongoing premises costs.
Further information about the Business Adaptation scheme recently announced by Essex County Council will be made available soon.
