Police investigating the murder of a 15-year-old boy stabbed to death in Wandsworth have made a fifth arrest and charged two more males with murder.

Joseph Marafini was killed on Thursday, October 29, after he was fatally stabbed during a fight involving several youths outside a supermarket near the Garratt Lane Burial Ground.

He died in hospital later that day, whilst a second 15-year-old boy was also take to hospital with stab wounds after violence broke out in front of horrified shoppers in Wandsworth, south west London.

Five individuals have now been arrested in connection with the incident, and as of November 3, and three have been charged with murder.

Met Police say a 17-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of murder October 31, was charged with breaching his bail conditions and appeared at Bromley Youth Court on Monday, 2 November.

There he was further charged with murder, and will next appear in court on a date to be confirmed.

Shaun Martini, 18, of Christchurch Road, SW2, was arrested on Sunday, November 1 and was charged with murder on Monday, November 2

He appeared at Camberwell Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, November 3 where he was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on Thursday, November 5.

An 18-year-old man, was arrested on Tuesday, November 3 on suspicion of murder. He was taken to a west London police station where he remains at this time.

Previously, Imran Boudjellel, 19 (25.09.01) of Bronti Close, SE17, was charged with murder on Saturday, 31 October.

He appeared in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court later the same day and was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, 3 November. He is remanded in custody to appear at the same court on a date to be confirmed.

A fifth male, aged 17, was arrested on October 29 and released with no further action.

Police were called at 5pm on Thursday, October 29, to reports of a fight outside a supermarket on Garratt Lane, SW18.

Two males were found near the Garratt Lane Burial Ground suffering from knife injuries.

The first victim was taken to hospital where he later died, and he has now been formally identified as Joseph Marafini, 15, of Wandsworth.

The second victim’s injuries were assessed as non-life threatening.

An investigation led by detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command (Homicide) is underway, and specially trained officers are supporting his family.

A post-mortem examination found the cause of death to have been a stab wound to the neck.
