Another south-east London coronavirus testing centre is set to open next week, it has been revealed.
Greenwich leader Dan Thorpe announced on Thursday afternoon a new, walk-through site would open at Plumstead's Abery Street.
It comes shortly after the opening of another testing centre in the borough at Avery Hill.
It also comes after a meeting of a Bexley Council committee on Tuesday heard plans were underway for a new centre at Abbey Wood.
In a message on Thursday, Cllr Thorpe confirmed a site would open at a temporary car park on Abery Street, SE18, from next week.
All tests must be booked online.
The site will be in pilot mode for the first few dates, then fully operational next week, the council leader said.
He also urged residents of his borough to get their flu vaccanation this year after receiving it himself.
"If you are one of the most at-risk people please make sure you get this year's flu vaccination, free of charge, and help Keep Greenwich Safe," he said.
