AN Ealing charity has received a grant of £13,512 to support its work with older people during COVID-19.
Neighbourly Care, which works with Ealing’s minority community groups, received the funds through Independent Age, the national older people’s charity.
The money will help Neighbourly Care with its project to support socially-isolated and lonely older people in need of emotional support.
Andrew Buddle, from Neighbourly Care, said: “We have operated through the lockdown to support residents.
“Demand has continued to rise as residents’ fear and uncertainty remain.”
