What will you do with an extra hour this Sunday?

It may seem like a long time ago since late night sunsets but this weekend marks the official end of British summer time (BST).

Clocks will be going back an hour at 2am this Sunday, October 25.

Thanks to daylight savings, we all gain an extra hour this weekend as clocks 'fall back'.

Clocks should automatically change on smartphones and computers, but analog or older devices may need to be changed manually.

Daylight savings brings darker, longer nights and shorter days - clocks will go forward and we will lose an hour on Sunday, March 28 2021.

Here are some of the things you could do with that extra hour in Southampton this weekend:

Crazy Golf

Book a slot at Mighty Adventures for a round of crazy golf, perfect for friends and families.

The viking inspired mini-golf course is fit with giant sea monsters, mysterious shipwrecks and terrifying dinosaurs.

Located on Upper Northam Road it is open from 10am to 5.30pm on Sundays in Hedge End Golf Centre.

Find Wally in Southampton City Art Gallery

Running from October, 9 to November 1, this weekend could be your ideal chance to take on the Where's Wally hunt at Southampton City Art Gallery.

Hiding amongst the collections and exhibitions you need to hunt for Wally and spell out a spooky phrase with letters hidden alongside mini Wally standees.

On completion of the free search you can receive a special “I found Wally!” bookmark.

There is also a chance to enter the Where’s Wally? and Kids in Museums grand prize draw competition to win an ArtFund Family Membership and a bundle of Where’s Wally? goodies.

Booking in advance is advised.

Go for a Sunday roast

With this weekend marking the official end of British summer time is it high-time to grab your group of six and get down to one of the best Sunday roast spots in the city.

We're spoilt for choice in Southampton with many award-winning restaurants and drool-worthy roasts on our doorsteps.

The Big Escape

The big escape is an interactive city-wide escape game that can be played on smartphones and tablets.

The casino-inspired escape is suitable for teams of two to six and costs £44 per group.

Based entirely in the city centre The Big Escape is outdoors and fully interactive, it's also suitable for all ages.

Bottomless Brunch

Daily Echo:

What better way to wind-away a Sunday than by booking in a spot with your friends for bottomless brunch?

We're lucky enough to be spoiled with choices for bars and restaurants in the city, many of which serve the modern weekend tradition.

If you're a fun of something a bit extra why not head to Turtle Bay for a Jamaican inspired brunch plus two hours of unlimited cocktails, mocktails and Red Stripe for just £27pp.
