Would you dare to visit the most haunted places in Brighton?

We already know of the ancient buildings that are haunted, but they aren't the only places to have visitors from 'the other side'.

We have created an interactive map documenting some spooky sightings and ghostly apparition that are said to have taken place in Brighton- some of them might have happened on a street near you.

Information sourced from Paranormal Databases.

One of the spooky stories involves the haunting spirits of residents who were bombed during the Second World War.

A  bomb killed many people in Norfolk Square and it is said that the screams of the injured could be heard for years after the event.

Another story involves the legend of 'Black Belly' haunting the area surrounding Churchill Square,  an apparition which is normally observed from the corner of the eye.

The figure is said to resemble a large bald man, wearing a shirt which doesn't quite cover his stomach, revealing a bloated and bruised stomach.

The figure is also said to hover a few centimetres from the ground.
