Protest site: the protest will take place close to Perivale station
A PEACEFUL protest in support of Black History Month will take place in Perivale Park (opposite Perivale Tube Station) this Sunday (4) from 1.15pm.
The organisers, Black Lives Matter and West London Stand Up To Racism, say it is to demand local authorities do more to teach black history in schools.
Black History Month originates in the US but is now celebrated in many countries.
Guest speakers are expected to include reggae artist Scratchylus and former Chelsea footballer Paul Canoville.
