THE firm building a super sewer to help clean up the Thames in London has released a set of photographic commissions depicting the river at sunset.
The collection shows the beauty of the Thames and highlights exactly why the work is so important.
As part of the Super Sewer project, Tideway is creating a number of new public spaces along the Thames, to better connect residents and visitors with the river.
Starting in Acton, the 25km Thames Tideway Tunnel will burrow through the heart of London and aims to clean up the river for Londoners and wildlife.
Tideway says the quality of water will improve, as will the visual appearance of the river, while the new structures it is creating in the river will provide new habitats for aquatic wildlife.
