A man has died after being trapped under a fallen tree in a back garden.
Police were called by ambulance services earlier this week on Monday (September 14) at 12.33pm to Thorpe Crescent, Oxhey Hall.
A man, in his 50s, was found trapped under a tree in a back garden and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Hertfordshire Constabulary said that the man was a tree surgeon and his family were informed of his death.
The road was shut during the day as police paramedics and fire crews were at the scene to deal with the incident.
The constabulary says this is no longer being treated as a police matter.
