Detectives hunting the hooded yobs who threw stones at cars on the M25 have released new pictures to assist their investigation.

Essex Police are looking to identify three individuals wanted for questioning after being captured on camera.

Police are investigating reports of objects being thrown at vehicles travelling between junctions 27 (Theydon Interchange) and 28 (Brook Street Interchange) on the M25, causing damage to the windscreens of at least two HGVs

The incidents were reported between 11.15pm on Monday, August 17 and 9.55pm on Tuesday, August 18.

A spokesperson for Essex Police said: "We appreciate the images are not the clearest but hope they will jog someone’s memory."

Detective Sergeant David Wilkinson added: “It is fortunate no-one was hurt but this reckless behaviour could have put drivers at serious risk of harm.”
