Essex Police have been busy hunting down drunk drivers and stolen vehicles.
On Monday, officers tracked down a stolen SUV within just 20 minutes of the crime being reported.

Enquiries into theft are ongoing but the vehicle will be back on its way to its rightful owner soon.
On Saturday police in Harlow found a stolen car hidden among bushes while on patrol in the Old House Lane area.

The car, which was reported stolen on August 20, has been returned to its owner, following forensic tests.
However, that was not the end of the car-related crimes.
In the early hours of this morning (Wednesday, September 2), the driver of a black Renault decided to park next to a marked police unit at the petrol station.

Officers alerted to the driver’s erratic behaviour decided to question the driver who turned out to be both drunk and driving without insurance.
The driver was arrested, and the car was seized.
