Butterfly Theatre is taking Shakespeare back to its roots, with an open air theatre production in the unique setting of Deen City Farm and Riding School.
Being one of only three London farms chosen to host the performance, Deen City will house 'A Midsummer Night’s Dream' on August 29.
In a new era of performances, the theatre which has ten years of experience has ensured the performance is 'covid-safe'.
Artistic Director Aileen Gonsalves said: “We promise fun and unforgettable performances against the unique backdrop of farms in the heart of London.
"Come and see the teenage lovers breaking lockdown curfew out in the paddock; Puck creating havoc as he mixes in too many bubbles; and the key-worker mechanicals as they attempt to hold the show together... all with the sounds of the animals as accompaniment!”
Guests will be able to explore the farm during and after the show.
