An uninsured driver who failed to stop led police on a high-speed chase around Beckenham last night which ended with her crashing a minute later.
Officers made a check on a car on South End Road at 9.38pm which was driving in a dangerous manner, finding it to be uninsured.
Ignoring signals to stop, the driver sped away, reaching 70mph in a 30mpn zone as police pursued.
A minute later, the driver crashed on Copers Cope Road, to which the London Fire Brigade and ambulance services were called soon after.
The driver, a woman, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, refusing a roadside drugs test, failure to stop, and no insurance.
Her two passengers did not report any injuries but were taken to hospital as a precaution.
