THE IMAGE of a second suspect wanted in connection with a city attack has been released.

Police and paramedics were called to Queens Road in Brighton last Saturday at 5.40pm.

A 39-year-old victim from London was struck and knocked unconscious.

He was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital and came round on Sunday evening, but still remains there.

Detectives identified a second man who may have important information. He was seen in a nearby Tesco around the time and is in his 20s, with short brown hair that is blond and longer on top.

The Argus:

Pictures show the new suspect in the top two pictures, and the first suspect in the bottom two images.

He had a distinctive black-and-white patterned short-sleeved shirt, skin tight shorts and was carrying a fold-up chair.

The Argus previously reported how a man seen wearing a flowery T-shirt was wanted in connection with the incident.
