CLEARING lines were busier than ever at the University of West London in Ealing as thousands of students sought find the right courses following a summer of Covid-19 disruption.
With the impact of lockdown on the jobs market, more people than ever are looking to find a university place in Clearing – and UWL experienced a surge in interest on the first morning.
Prof Anthony Woodman, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, said: “People are incredibly worried about securing a place that will give them the skills they need to build a career, and we understand that.
“We are working hard to reassure all those getting in touch that we will be matching them with the right courses based on not just their grades, but their experience, skills and career aspirations.”
