Three garden sheds were destroyed by a fire which spread across the road.

The fire broke out on Windsor Road in Harrow on Friday (August 7) at around 5.42pm which left three garden sheds destroyed and 10 metres of garden fencing damaged.

Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters from Stanmore, Harrow, Wembley and Northolt attended the scene.

Firefighters cooled and removed two gas cylinders to an ambient temperature as some cylinders can explode when exposed to heat.

One man was treated on scene by London Ambulance Service crews and taken to hospital.

The London Fire Brigade received 34 calls about the incident as concerned residents sought help.

The fire was then under control by 7.05pm that day.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
