An 87-year-old woman was burgled after two men pretended to visit her home as utility workers last week.
On July 23, police were called to reports of a burglary which took place on Quicks Road, at around 12.00 pm on July 22.
Two men dressed as uniformed utility workers gained access to the address after claiming they were from the water board needing to 'check inside the property'.
Met Police say one of the suspects 'kept her talking' while the other ransacked her bedroom and stole all of her jewellery.
Police are reminding residents to remain aware when visited by cold callers and unwanted visitors.
