A small business owner from Wallington has been awarded for her tremendous body oil which is sourced from community allotments.

Louisa Alessandra Pini, 41, of Just Be Natural skincare, was awarded for her Carshalton sourced product on July 21.

The 41-year-old won Silver in the Body and Bath Oil category at the Free From Skincare Awards, sponsored by Lyonslef.

The Europe-wide awards were founded to encourage and reward manufacturers of skincare products that are ‘free from’.

Louisa's products avoid many of the allergens, chemicals, additives and fragrances associated with skin sensitivities, allergies, and ethical, environmental and health concerns.

The announcement followed a rigorous month-long assessment by four experienced skincare testers and concluded with round-table expert judging sessions, conducted both in-person and virtually on Zoom.

Speaking to Sutton Guardian, Louisa Pini said: “I’m delighted to have won this prestigious award and a little bit surprised.

"I make Restore Luxury Body oil using locally sourced Carshalton Lavender oil from the community allotments.

"Lavender is not for everyone so when I entered Restore Luxury Body Oil into the awards I was uncertain as to how well it would do.

"I’m so proud at reading what some of the product testers have had to say about it.

"It really is a luxurious body oil perfect for rescuing sun stressed skin and powerfully rejuvenating.”
