A MAN has been spared jail over a brawl in a Bradford on Avon car park.

Appearing before Swindon Crown Court, Toby Hayden, 34, of Grist Court, Bradford on Avon, pleaded guilty to a single charge of affray.

It was said he injured four men in the car park beneath flats on Kingston Road in an incdient on May 11 last year.

Judge Jason Taylor QC sentenced him to 16 months imprisonment suspended for two years. He must complete 250 hours of community service and 20 rehabilitation activity days with the probation service.

The judge ordered a total of £850 compensation be paid to the four victims.
