Pictures have emerged from the scene on a murder in Penge, where a man in his early 30s died from gunshot wounds.
Police said the victim collapsed in Croydon Road near the junction with Tremaine Road early on Sunday morning. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Images show a forensic tent set up in an alleyway next to the Mitre pub.
Enquiries are underway to identify the man and inform his next of kin.
Detectives from the Met's Specialist Crime are investigating, and believe the man died from gunshot injuries.
There has been no arrest at this stage. Anyone with information that may assist police is asked to call 101 quoting CAD 1402/12jul.
