A man is in hospital with a gunshot wound to his stomach.
A man was found injured in Whitewebbs Lane in Forty Hill, in the far north of the borough of Enfield, yesterday evening.
Police attended the scene at around 7.15pm on Sunday after being called by the London Ambulance Service.
A man, believed to be in his 50s, was being treated for a suspected gunshot wound to his stomach before being taken to hospital.
The police in Enfield said last night his condition was being assessed.
There has been a police cordon in place when the man was found and enquiries are ongoing.
At this stage, the Met says no arrests have been made.
