Engineering works set for this weekend (July 4 and 5) are set to cause travel disruption across southeast London, with multiple rail lines affected.

Work is set to take place between Hither Green and Sidcup on Saturday and between Hither green and Dartford on Sunday, closing various lines.

On Saturday, July 4, trains will run between Sidcup and Dartford. Buses will run between Lewisham and Sidcup. Passengers from Albany Park, Bexley and Crayford should travel via Dartford for a quicker journey towards London.

Replacement buses will run between Lewisham and Sidcup.

London Cannon Street to Orpington services will not run, but London Charing Cross to Sevenoaks services will still run normally.

The Bromley North to Grove park shuttle will run half-hourly.

There will be fewer trains each hour on the Woolwich Line as services which run between London Cannon Street and London Cannon Street via Sidcup and Woolwich will not run.

You can use London Bus routes 225 & 273 between Lewisham and Hither Green at no extra cost.

On Sunday, July 5, London Charing Cross to Gravesend services will be diverted to run via Bexleyheath.

London Cannon Street to London Cannon Street via Sidcup and Woolwich services will run via Bexleyheath instead of Sidcup.

Replacement buses will run between Lewisham and Dartford via Sidcup.

London Charing Cross to Sevenoaks services will run non stop from London Bridge to Hither Green.
