Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to identify following a burglary at a newsagents.
The incident took place at Ash Newsagents in Elstree High Street at around 3am on Tuesday May 26.
A man broke into the shop and attempted to steal cigarettes, but he was disturbed and then fled.
PC Ash Oakshott, who is investigating, said: "Do you recognise the man in the photo? I’m appealing for anyone who has information about this incident to contact us. This was an upsetting ordeal for the shop owner and while nothing was taken, damage was caused to the shop front."
