THE health trust that serves Ealing has been recognised as “very patient-centred with many examples of staff and leaders going the extra mile to support patients”.
In its report published today (2), the Care Quality Commission awarded West London NHS Trust a ‘good’ overall rating, with ‘outstanding’ for caring and ‘good’ for being effective, responsive and well-led.
The trust serves a population of 800,000 people across the boroughs of Hammersmith and Fulham, Ealing and Hounslow, employing more than 3,700 staff.
Its work includes medium secure services on the St Bernard’s Hospital site in Southall and Ealing Community Partners, launched in July last year, to provide community and care services across the borough of Ealing.
