A CCTV image has been released by police in an effort to help identify a man who died at Clapham North Station.

Officers from British Transport Police (BTP) were called to reports of a casualty on the tracks at around 10am on April 7.

A BTP statement said "extensive enquiries" had been carried out by officers since the incident, but they had been unable to identify the man and inform his family.

The appeal referenced a "distinctive logo" on his clothing, reading Everlast Est 1910.

The casualty was described as white, wearing a blue Everlast jacket over a grey jumper, grey tracksuit bottoms and blue socks with white stars on them, with light blue and grey Nike trainers.

He had a short black beard, a black beanie hat and a pair of black framed glasses. He is believed to be between 25 and 35 years of age.

Detective Sergeant Gerry Griffin said: “This was a tragic incident and we are working very hard to identify this man so we can let his family know what’s happened and give them the support they need. We have made extensive enquiries but now we need the public’s help. If you know who this man may be, then I would urge you to contact us as soon as possible."
