A 20-year-old man was rushed to hospital after he was assaulted on St Paul's Wood Hill in Orpington today (Wednesday, March 18).
The Air Ambulance, London paramedics and police officers all attended after the victim "suffered cuts believed caused by a bottle".
Officers from the Metropolitan Police confirmed their presence at the scene of the assault on St Paul's Wood Hill on Wednesday evening after confirming the victim's injuries were not life-threatening.

In a statement sent to News Shopper, a spokesperson for the Met said:
"Police were called at approximately 15:45hrs on Wednesday, 18 March to reports of a man assaulted in St Pauls Wood Hill, Orpington.
"Officers, London Ambulance Service and the London Air Ambulance attended.
"The victim – aged 20 – was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries consistent with being attacked with a bottle. His condition is not life threatening."
The Met are actively investigating the assault but have not yet made any arrests.
