Out-on-loan Watford defender Dimitri Foulquier is expecting his deal with Granada to be made permanent at the end of the season.
The Spanish club have an option to make the loan deal a permanent one and the Watford Observer understands that is now a probable outcome.
The 26-year-old joined the Hornets from Granada in 2017 and is now back on loan with the La Liga club.
Since arriving at Vicarage Road, the Guadeloupe international has also spent time on loan with RC Strasbourg and Getafe and has featured just five times in all competitions for Watford.
He made his first start in the Premier League for the club in the 8-0 defeat away at Manchester City in September, but was substituted after just 33 minutes.
