A YELLOW warning for rain and snow has been issued by The Met Office.
The warning comes into force at 2am tomorrow until 3pm.
It covers Greater Manchester and Lancashire.
According to the alert a band of rain will turn to snow.
The Met Office states: "A brief spell of freezing rain is possible as snow begins to turn to rain, leading to icy stretches. Meanwhile, given saturated ground and recent flooding, the combination of snow melt and rain may also bring about some disruption, mainly over parts of northern England."
