A FREE exhibition of costume inspired by the Georgian era and using recycled materials is being staged at Gunnersbury Park and Museum until February 27.

Reclaiming Georgian Fashion is by students from Ellen Wilkinson School and the Descendants community group.

Descendants is an arts-focused educational project aimed at young people and children aged 4-18, primarily, though not exclusively, of African and Caribbean descent.

Girls from Ellen Wilkinson School also worked on a fashion project with textile artist Karen Arthur, inspired by Gunnersbury's collection of historic costumes.

A fashion show was held at the museum to showcase the work.
