A FREE one day conference to discuss he concept of happiness will be held at the University of Bolton next month.
The event, entitled ‘Happiness in Bolton: Let’s Share It with the World’ aims to discuss all aspects of wellbeing and takes place on Saturday March 14. It has been organised by Professor Jerome Carson, the University’s Professor of Psychology, and will kick off the Festival of Worktown, which takes place in the last two weeks of March.
There will be a variety of presentations on happiness, leisure, fitness, religion and addiction, along with drama and music performances. The provisional line-up of speakers will include Bolton fitness guru Ken Heathcote, Professor Bob Snape, Sandie McHugh, Kathryn Thomasson, Julie Levy, Elisabeth Long, Ian Platt, Mo Sadiq, Reginald Amanze and Chris Elliott.
