A video has emerged of a seal seen fishing around the River Thames in Teddington on February 18.
The footage was recorded by Liz Sephton who noticed that there was something in the water, that looked unusual and which also prompted her to take her phone out and begin recording.
During the 19-second-clip the seal can be seen dipping its head in and out of the water.
The seal is surrounded by a log of fallen trees as it holds its head it the air for about 10 seconds before disappearing under water.
Last week there were reports that a seal was spotted in the River Thames in Kingston.
Once dubbed as a 'biologically dead river,' during the 1950's - a study has revealed that in 2019, more than 130 new seal pups were birthed in the River Thames.
