THE red carpet treatment was enjoyed by members of The Operetta Company.
The Farnworth based theatre company received a National Operatic and Dramatic Association Award for keeping operetta alive on the the amateur stage.
The award was handed out after the compnay's production of The Gypsy Baron last March.
Jean Forrester, publicity officer for The Operetta Company said: "There is an awards evening each year when various awards are presented in different categories for shows seen during that period.
"We were delighted to receive this award as many people still like to see the older operettas still being performed, and they are extremely welcome to come along and see our next production which is Naughty Marietta."
Naughty Marietta shows from March 4 to 6 at Trinity Church, Market Street, Farnworth. For tickets visit SEATY.co.uk or ring 07599951429.
