Some homes across Watford are currently without power.
UK Power Networks (UKPN) is aware of a power cut which is currently affecting the WD1 2, WD17 2, WD2 4, and WD24 4 postcodes - this is North Watford and the town centre area.
Other nearby postcodes not listed may also be affected.
Currently affected households say they lost all power at around 4.45pm.
The power supplier estimates power will be restored between 6pm and 7pm today.
The company says an underground electricity cable faulted on its high voltage network, causing an area wide power cut.
There are also reports of a power cut in the Rickmansworth area.
The postcodes affected are HA4 0, HA6 2, HP1 8, NR14 7, NW2 2, and WD3 7.
This is due to a fault which occurred on an underground electricity cable.
No time has been given on when the power will be restored in those postcodes.
