Police have released the picture of a Carshalton man following an armed robbery.

Officers from Sussex Police attended Brufords jewellers in The Beacon Shopping Centre, Eastbourne at about 10.10am on January 26 after 15 Rolex watches with an estimated value between £100,000 and £150,000 were stolen.

Four men all wearing masks covering their faces, and one man was reported to be carrying a small handheld pick axe or hammer, entered the premises around 10am.

A search of the area, assisted by armed police officers and the police helicopter, was conducted and two men were arrested on the Cuckoo trail near Station Road.

Gavin Walter, 41, of Westminster Road, Sutton, and Paul Mitchell of Orchard Avenue, Mitcham were both charged with robbery and remanded in custody. The pair are due to appear at Lewes Crown Court on February 25.

A further two men are wanted in connection with the incident.

Police want to locate Kieran Thomas (pictured left), aged 40, of Carshalton.

Officers also wish to identify a fourth man (pictured right) following the robbery and are appealing to anyone who knows him to come forwards.
