A man may be left with permanent injuries after an unprovoked attack at a McDonald's restaurant.

The man, 19, was punched at the McDonald's branch in Elton Way, Watford, at around 4am on December 15, 2019.

After the attack, the man was left with a fractured eye socket and injuries which are believed to be permanent.

Police have now released an image of a man they would like to identify as part of their enquiries.

Investigator Charlotte Hartley, from the Local Crime Unit, said: “We have been conducting numerous enquiries since the incident was reported and have made two arrests as a result.

“We would now like to identify the man pictured, as he may have further information which could assist the investigation.

“If you recognise him, please get in contact.”

  • Nezir Selita, 21, from High Street in Edgware, has been charged with Great Bodily Harm (GBH) with intent. He pleaded not guilty during a pre-trial preparation hearing and has been remanded in custody, to appear before St Albans Crown Court on June 8.
  • Izzet Erpolat, 22, from Coldharbour Lane in Bushey, has been charged with GBH with intent. He was released on conditional bail and is due to appear at St Albans Magistrates Court on March 9.
