THE annual Heart Month initiative is being run again this February by Hillingdon Council.
Events will be held at libraries across the borough to support people of all ages with their health and wellbeing.
It begins this Saturday (1) at Botwell Green Library, where people can enjoy a craft session, heart-theme story time and climbing with the Scouts.
Uxbridge Library will host its first speed reading event on Saturday from 12-2pm, when visitors can chat to a range of authors about their books and writing careers.
Next Monday (3), it will hold a Once Upon a Bump group, to give expectant and new parents the opportunity to meet, chat and socialise over a cup of tea from 2-3pm.
There will also be a health fair on Friday (7) at Uxbridge Library, where visitors can receive health and wellbeing advice.
Other activities around the borough include health checks, feel-good film screenings, talks, coffee mornings and walks.
