Ready to run: Tom Norrington
A RUISLIP man is taking on a half marathon in support of Blind Veterans UK, the charity that supports blind ex-servicemen and women
Tom Norrington, 29, is taking on the Cambridge Half on March 8.
Recently returned from teaching English in Vietnam, he says the cause pulled on his heartstrings.
He said: “I’m looking to go into the military and I thought that one day it could be me in need of support.”
He has already achieved 40 per cent of his fund-raising target and has a Just Giving page:
