Three men were caught after reports suspecting them of hunting rabbits with their dogs.

Rickmansworth Police have revealed that three men were stopped yesterday (January 15) after reports of suspicious behaviour that may have involved them hunting rabbits with their dogs at Croxley Common Moor.

Police community support officers attended the scene and recorded the details of the three men, who will all be issued with a Community Protection Notice Warning with conditions.

A similar incident of dogs being used to chase rabbits was also reported to police in December 2019.

Officers were called to Croxley Moor on December 22 due to reports of a man with two dogs – a Jack Russell and unclear descriptions of possibly another brown dog – chasing rabbits.

Police attended the scene and searched the area but were unable to locate the man at the time.

It is currently unclear if these two incidents are linked.
