HILLINGDON home care firm is creating 25 jobs as it gets behind a national campaign to fill 122,000 vacancies in adult social care.
Caremark (Hillingdon) says it is experiencing unprecedented levels of demand for its services, in part owing to the ageing population.
It aims to appoint 25 new front-line care and support workers for elderly or otherwise vulnerable people living in the borough.
Managing director Abhay Shah said: “Care work is one of the most rewarding and fulfilling vocations. By creating these new roles, not only are we boosting the local economy, but we are hoping to help people find their calling.”
The ageing population means nearly 600,000 more care staff will be needed in the country by 2035.
Caremark is inviting people who are compassionate and want to make a difference to the lives of others to get in touch.
