A HOUSING association has begun work on 105 affordable homes in Acton Lane, near the Central Middlesex Hospital in Park Royal.
They are being built by developers Hollybrook for Network Homes, with completion expected in 2021.
Eighteen flats will be for London Affordable Rent, a rate set by the Greater London Authority and comparable to social rent, plus 83 homes for shared ownership.
The four remaining homes will be for London Living Rent, a Mayor of London scheme with rents based on a third of average household incomes.
Of the new flats, 28 will be one-bedroom, 60 are two-bedroom and 17 will be three-bedroom.
The scheme is part of wider plans by Network Homes to build more homes near Central Middlesex Hospital.
The land sits within the Old Oak and Park Royal Opportunity Area, where, through regeneration, 25,000 new homes are planned.
