A Swanley man has been charged after plain clothes police intercepted an alleged drug deal in Chatham.
Rhys Pick, of Fens Way, was arrested and charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
Officers spotted a suspected handover taking place near the band stand in Jackson Fields at around 9.55am yesterday.
A subsequent search of the area resulted in a mobile phone and 25 wraps, suspected to be crack cocaine and heroin, being seized the officers.
The 23-year-old was remanded in custody to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday December 11.
