PUPILS from Heathrow Primary School in Harmondsworth Lane, Sipson, decked the halls of Heathrow Airport with more than 500 hand-crafted baubles and helped switch on close to a kilometre of Christmas lights.
The UK’s busiest airport aims to sparkle this Christmas as it welcomes more than 6.5 million passengers.
To celebrate the official opening of Christmas at Heathrow, pupils delighted passengers with a Christmas carol flash performance, accompanied by Santa.
The airport has been working closely with Heathrow Primary throughout the year, with airport volunteers providing weekly reading sessions, a careers day, enterprise day and leadership sessions.
