A display of over 70 decorated Christmas trees prepared by communities across the district will be open to the public to vote for the best design this weekend.
The annual Christmas Tree Festival at St John’s Church 16th annual Christmas Tree will take place from December 6 to 9 on St John’s Road, Epping.
Schools, clubs, businesses, societies and individuals will battle it out hoping to be crowned this year’s winner.
More than 2,000 people attended and voted for their favourite trees in last year’s event.
The winner of the best community organisation tree was The Friends of Copped Hall Trust.
Visitors can also take part in craft stalls, tombola and a lucky dip with refreshments and entertainment provided for all ages.

Opening hours for this year’s event are:
Friday, December 6 - 1:00pm to 9:00pm
Saturday, December 7 - 10:00am to 4:00pm
Sunday, December 8 - 12.00pm to 4:00pm
Monday, December 9 - 10:00am to 2:00pm
Entry fees will go towards St John’s Church, Epping’s Citizens Advice Bureau and charities Safer Places, Five Talents and St Luke's Hospital in the northern West Bank city of Nablus.
Free entry for young people up to 16 years accompanied by an adult.
Students (16+): £1 with student ID card and adults: £2.50.
