A man is in hospital after being stabbed in Mitcham yesterday evening.
Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 6.44pm on Tuesday to reports of an injured man on London Road at the junction with Victoria Road.
Officers attended and found a man, aged in his mid-20s, suffering from a stab wound.
A Met spokesman said: "He was taken to a south London hospital for treatment; his injury is not believed to be life-threatening.
"At this early stage, there have been no arrests and enquiries continue."
