A four-year-old boy’s who won an estate agents annual Christmas drawing competition will feature on the company’s festive-themed sales boards.

Dylan Sharpe from the Reception class at Lambourne Primary School on Hoe Lane, Abridge, was announced the winner at the school’s Christmas Fete on Friday, November 29.

Estate agents Butler & Stag on Forest Drive in Theydon Bois asked the pupils to illustrate what Christmas means to them.

The winning design is featured on Butler & Stag’s special festive boards outside houses in the local area.

They chose Dylan’s design of a reindeer that will feature on boards outside properties for sale and rent across the district during the festive season.

The four-year-old said: “I like drawing and I like Christmas so the competition was easy. I am glad I won and got a new drawing set as well.”

Butler & Stag director Neil Leahy and headteacher Sarah Noden presented Dylan a brand-new art and colouring set, as part of the youngster’s prize last week.

The estate agent team, who also helped promote the school’s Christmas fair, also made a donation to the school for each board they erected for the company.

Ms Noden said: “We are so grateful to Butler & Stag for supporting our village school and our pupils loved the competition.

“Schools are always looking for ways to raise additional funds and inspire their pupils so continued support like this is much appreciated.”

Mr Leahy added: “There were over 100 designs to choose from and each member of staff selected their best three.

“We chose Dylan’s picture as the colouring and festive message was clear. Feedback has been great with many compliments about the idea and how striking the boards look.”
